Juanita Bynum Savagely Beaten

Published by ryanmidnight at 8:26 am under jerk Edit This

Last week, Juanita Bynum-Weeks (or Wynita Bynum, if you can’t take five seconds to learn how to spell someone’s name correctly) was mercilessly beaten by her estranged husband Bishop Thomas Weeks III in the parking lot of a hotel in Atlanta.

The two were apparently trying to patch things up. Juanita had risen to fame taking about women’s empowerment and making relationships work. Unfortunately, Weeks had been listening to too much Hot 97 recently, and was under the impression that the only way to make a relationship work and to make a woman listen is with your fists. What a jerk.

Oh, and here is a photo of the two during their wedding, because everyone loves a wedding!

What a happy looking couple, eh?

I for one will be lifting Juanita Bynum as well as her husband up in prayer. This is satan at his best and worst. I pray that she will continue to look to God for guidance in this very difficult time.

I agree with you Syliva. So many people have sat in judgement about the Weeks family and have just exed out the man of God because of what he did. Yes he was wrong but at this moment they both need prayer and love at this time. Again Sylvia you are right this is satan at his best he thinks.

Cherry this is satan at his best, you are right he can’t control us but he can temp us to pull the trigger. We still have to recognize that this is a spiritual war and Bishop and his wife are human and make mistakes just like us. The difference is that every mistake that we make is not plastered on the net or the news. Just imagine if every mistake you made was dissected by millions. If we are believers its our obligation to lift this man and woman of God up in prayer because this was a blow to the kingdom of God. Im not saying that this is a not a lack of immurturity and responsiblity of the Bishop but who are we to judge. Let him do his job and as believers lets do our job in realizing that it could have been us. They still need prayer if you dont believe that then the enemy have just won another battle.

For a preacher representing a man of God, you are a devil with a tail and horns!
To attack a daughter of God, is the worst thing you can do, a women that was made is GOD’S OWN IMAGE preaching and teaching the gospel to millions around the world. During a marvelous work of GOD, helping and healing where ever she went, this is a disgrace to be beat like some wild beast in the woods. I was so much in shock I could not believe this had actually happen, all my prayers go to Juanita and her family.

    God Help Please!
I have been a Recipient of abuse for the past 9 years in my marriage. I left and filed for a divorce after going though years of counseling with different pastors but was not supported by my church because I was told it was the wrong thing I did. God Help Us All who have been through this type of abuse and worse.
I will continue to support you!

Angela, don’t you realize that God will not help you, and that you must help yourself. Stand up for yourself and act! As for your “church”, if they will not support you because of their archaic ways, then you need to find some real friends who will stand by your side.

Until I coud hear ALL the facts, from both sides, surrounding this issue I do not blame anyone. I fell this is another sad situation where we see the ones who are supposed to lead the people of God not in position to do so. Why? Could be from all lot of reasons and some may even BLAME the devil even for that. I just feel it all balls down to people not allowing God to come in a settle all issues within them peronally and spiritually. Because when you stand before Gods people you do not have time for your personal issues contaminating your position and call. The kingdom purpsoe is always greater that. I believe Pastor Bynum preached a message about being tied to the alter. I just wonder if they had really been tied, a prisoner of the salvation made available at Christ expense, would they be in this public degarding shameful mess. What did she say and do to cause such anger to come out of him in public like that? To me it looks like he was tired and had turned the other check so many times and this time he had enough. Am I for a man putting his hands on a woman? NO!! But he is human and if she has a attitude problem along with a mouth problem there is only so much of that anyone, whether save or not, can take.

I,m not the one to judge…I’ve have been a fan since no more sheets. I,m a 38 year old woman, never been married. I have been in your shoes. I,m not perfect, but I,m waiting to be perfected!!! My heart goes out to you. No man shall ever hit a woman. I feel if a man hits a woman, he is a COWARD!! Thats my opinion..But unfortunately, test and trials come our way for a reason. Now you will have an enormous testimony to share with women! Don’t ever think this is your fault..You have a wonderful ministry! So stay encourage’ and let God do his wonderous work!!!!!

I believe Jaunita Bynum and her husband both needs prayer.
He should attend anger management classes. He really should be ashame of what he did, being a child of GOD.Fighting a women is noexcuse of that kind of behavior.
If we are to follow JESUS,then we must set good examples and not bad ones.
