Nick Hogan, 17-year-old son of former wrestler Hulk Hogan, was sentenced Friday to eight months in jail for the August car crash that left best friend, John Graziano, critically injured.

Pleading no contest the younger Hogan will be put on five years’ probation after his release and must perform 500 hours of community service, complete DUI school and is prohibited from drinking alcohol of any kind during his probation.

Three days after being arrested for a traffic violation, the actor-rapper DMX was arrested early Friday at his Phoenix-area home and charged with seven misdemeanor counts of animal cruelty and four counts of felony drug possession.

DMX, whose real name is Earl Simmons, shut himself in his bedroom when the SWAT team with the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office first arrived, but officers talked him into cooperating, after which they discovered weapons, drugs and five pit bull puppies.

The rapper was booked and bail has been set at $7500. He will be due back in court May 15.

Our diva of disaster, Amy Winehouse, was arrested Wednesday for alleged possession of a controlled drug. The arrest comes after a video was released in January that allegedly shows her smoking crack and snorting cocaine.

Amy was arrested on April 25 for suspicion of assault for allegedly headbutting a man outside a London bar but she was released the next day and given a formal caution.

Winehouse went to a London police station voluntarily for a scheduled meeting and was questioned regarding the alleged drug offenses. At the end of the meeting, she was arrested.

A rep for Winehouse was reported as saying,

“Amy Winehouse voluntarily attended a London police station today by appointment. She was arrested in order to be interviewed and is co-operating fully with inquiries. The interview relates to a video handed to police earlier this year.”

Dennis Rodman entered an outpatient Rehab facility in Ft. Lauderdale on Monday, but was seen partying at the Delano Hotel in Miami with a couple of sluts hotties last night. He was drinking but it is unclear as to whether it was alcohol or not.

Dennis was arrested last week on suspicion of felony domestic battery after allegedly having too much to drink and getting into a fight with his girlfriend, Gina “Gigi” Peterson. It’s said that while in Miami, he’ll be meeting with his attorney, Brad Cohen, the same criminal defense attorney that got Vanilla Ice’s battery cased dropped.

There doesn’t seem to be a lot of eyebrow raising, holy crap news going on in celebdom today. A bench warrant was issued for Foxy Brown’s arrest when the rapper failed to appear in court today on charges that she struck a woman with her phone last year. She’s also due in a Florida court this week on assault charges in a separate case. This woman thinks she’s above the law(and everyone else) but no news there.

Mariah Carey eloped in the Bahamas with Nick Cannon late last week. The majority has it that it won’t last. I’m thinking who cares. Although I’m sure the breakup will make good press or maybe we’ll get nine months of ad nauseam updates on Mariah’s baby bump (stupid term!).

The most idiotic bit of news to come out recently is that Miley Cyrus is planning to write her memoirs. What’s it going to be, one of those big chunky flip books for toddlers? The girl is only 15! It should be illegal to write your memoirs until you’re at least 65. Come back in 50 years Miley. Hopefully I’ll be dead by then.

According to a post over at Stupid Celebrities Gossip , Roger Clemens had a number of sexual “special” relationships with beautiful women. Besides Mindy McCready and Paulette Dean Daly, he also laid made friends with Angela Moyer, an ex bartender.

It wasn’t clear if any of these women knew about Roger’s penchant for beautiful women. None of the three women; Mindy McCready, Paulette Dean Daly, or Angela Moyer have come forth about their knowledge concerning Clemens’ relationships with other women.

It is rumored that Clemens, now 45, shuttled the women around in his private jet, bought costly jewelry and even supported at least two of them financially.

Angela Moyer admitted knowing Clemens but would not elaborate on the nature of their relationship. Angela, now 30 works as a Realtor and thus far is the only woman to decline comment on her relationship with Clemens. Both Paulette Dean Daly and Mindy McCready have confirmed that sex romance was involved in their relationships with Roger Clemens.

Let me see… don’t we have a word for men that have these “special” relationships? Oh yeah, I think it’s called philanderer… womanizer… player. Ok so there are a lot of words for guys like Roger Clemens. But wholesome as apple pie he ain’t!

Lindsay Lohan is less than pleased with her latest public appearance. A mugshot of the now 21-year-old Lohan, who has been in and out of rehab following two arrests on drunken driving and cocaine charges, was featured Friday in an advertisement attacking legislation for ignition interlocks, devices designed to measure a driver’s blood alcohol level before they can start their vehicle.

The full-page ad, which appeared in USA Today on Friday, was paid for by the American Beverage Institute , a restaurant trade group that supports the interests of the U.S. alcohol industry and promotes responsible drinking by adults Read as follows:

Ignition interlocks, or in-car breathalyzers, are a great tool for getting hard-core drunk drivers off our roads. However, activists now want to put one in every car in America. That means the end of moderate and responsible drinking prior to driving…No more champagne toasts at weddings, no more wine with dinner, no more beers at a ballgame.

Lohan’s lawyer Blair Berk replied in a statement:

“USA Today is idiotic to run such an irresponsible advertisement suggesting that drinking and driving is some kind of American ‘tradition’ we should protect,” “Not identifying that this ad was paid for by the liquor and restaurant industries is profoundly reckless.”

“Drunk white businessmen, drunk housewives out for girls night out and drunk wedding parties should be kept off the roads of America,” Berk continued. “Lindsay Lohan fully endorses ignition interlock devices, which have been well-proven to save lives.”

The American Beverage Institute defended its use of Lohan’s image.

“People magazine, Smoking Gun and a lot of people have republished this mug shot,” said Longwell. “It was publicly accessible. We’re not using it for any kind of commercial gain. So we’re well within our rights to use it.”

Nine U.S. states have passed laws permitting the installation of breathalyzers used to lock ignition switches in cars of those who have been convicted of first time drunk driving.

In a story just in from TMZ , former NBA star Dennis Rodman was arrested last night on suspicion of felony domestic battery. According to officials, they charge suspects with a felony if there is evidence of injury, such as bruising or blood.

Rodman was arrested at 10:15 PM at a Century City hotel and was released at 4:16 this morning on $50,000 bail.
