Soap Opera Blunder

Published by Regina Avalos at 1:54 pm under celebrity, lame, television Edit This

This is one of those that just makes you want to scratch your head and wonder what people were thinking. A major soap opera while working to show the story line of one of their characters used a photo of what turns out to be a boy that died after being kidnapped and murdered. The soap opera in question is General Hospital: Nightshift, which airs on SOAPNet. The series is made in connection to ABC’s General Hospital. The little boy was Christopher Barrios, and the family had never given permission to use his picture on the series. Neither network was sure on how his image came to be used either. In order to make amends, the series will do a series of public service announcements for missing and exploited children. I’m really curious how his image was used!
