Boy George Gets Slammed
Singer Boy George, formerly of the group Culture Club, was sentence to fifteen months in jail on Friday, January 16th. The sentence was handed down this morning in a London courtoom from a conviction the singer, also known as George O’Dowd received in December.
He was accused and convicted of false imprisonment that came from an April 2007 incident with a male escort. The male escort said he was tied to Boy George’s bed and beaten after the singer thought he stole a picture from his laptop. The singer will start his sentence immediately. Seems a bit harsh to me when I think of it. A sex game gone wrong?
