Chaz Bono Likes Being A Man
Earlier this summer, Chaz Bono announced to the world that he was going to have sex reassignment surgery to transition himself from the woman he was born into to be the man he always felt he was. He now has had his first interview since that announcement back in June. He sat down with Entertainment Tonight to talk about his transition in an interview that is airing this week on Thursday and Friday.
Chaz was born as Chastity Bono, the daughter of Cher and Sonny Bono. This is what he had to say about his transition and why he even did it. Brave man! I always felt like the male from the time I was a child. There wasn’t much feminine about me. I believe that gender is something between your ears, not between your legs. That is something I discovered in the early ’90s. It was just a long process of being comfortable enough to do something about it. I want to still feel vibrant and be able to enjoy my life in a male body and not wait until I am an old man.
