I am starting to wonder where the sage with Kate and Jon will end. It seems every day we have something new from this couple that isn’t even together anymore. TLC had them on a series called Jon & Kate Plus 8. Well, as we know Jon and Kate broke up, so TLC has renamed the series Kate Plus 8. We see Kate and Jon just about everywhere it seems. Jon was on Larry King just last week talking about things, and Kate has once again hit The Today Show over the weekend with an interview on Sunday morning.
During that interview, she told Meredith Viera that she was broke, and Jon was the reason for it. Apparently, he took over $230,000 out of their savings, leaving her with just about $1,000 to work with. She can’t afford to pay her bills right now. You have to wonder how much of this is actually real? Mean to say, but little shockers like this just seem to keep up their fifteen minutes of fame if you ask me.
You can see Kate on The Today Show below. What do you think? Did Jon take the money and run?
Back in September, DJ AM was involved in a plane crash that injured Travis Barker and killed four other when his plane overshot the runway, crashed and then burst into flames. Now he is suing for the crash and more details about it have been released. Apparently a tire blew shortly after take off, and the pilots made the decision to abort take off. This is what caused the crash.
DJ AM is suing the estate of the pilots and several companies for damages in this incident. Travis Barker has already filed a similar lawsuit. This crash was such a terrible tragedy. DJ AM and Travis Barker are very lucky men to be alive. The lawsuit was filed on December 23rd.
Natalie Maines is known for being outspoken, especially when it comes to things she feels strongly about. She caused chaos with her comments about President Bush in the past, and now she is causing trouble again with her comments about a murder that took place back in 1993.
Three men were convicted of the crime, but she feels strongly that the murderer is someone else, a man by the name of Terry Hobbs. He has now sued Maines and her band mates for their continued comments. He said these comments have caused him to lose work and his reputation has been damaged. Maines and her band mates have yet to comment on the lawsuit.
Boy George was in a London court room on Monday on a case involving a male escort. The escort, Audun Carlsen, has accused the singer of beating him. It is said that Boy George handcuffed the man and then beat him with a chain. Boy George swears he had no intentions of killing the man.
Am I the only one scratching my head at this one. This one just seems to be too far out there. I guess we can say in this case the crying game Boy George is playing is the one to keep him away from any jail time!
Boy George says the only reason why he handcuffed the man is because he thought that the escort had hacked into his computer. Alright, handcuff him and then call the cops. Don’t beat him!
Everyone remembers what happened at the Super Bowl in 2004. Perhaps not during the game, but many remember what happened during the half time show when Justin Timberlake exposed Janet Jackson’s breast back accident. The incident caused a firestorm, and CBS was fined for the incident for the FCC. Now the case is being reviewed again by the Supreme Court because the Federal Appeals Court has said the fine charged was not necessary. Apparently the image was only shown briefly, and the Courts wonder if this makes the incident worthy of a fine or not. It has been four years people. Who cares about boobiegate?!
A man had paid $300,000 to Michael Jackson, the King of Pop, for him to do a mind map. Yes, someone actually paid him to doodle on a piece of paper. When Jackson didn’t follow through, a Bahraini sheik has now sued the singer for a sum of seven million dollars. Michael Jackson needs to appear in court in London on Monday, November 24. The singer had originally said he was too sick to travel, but now he will make the trip overseas. Not sure where the man will get the money if he does win the case. Michael Jackson is not exactly rolling in money these days!
Before you worry about the fact that Christian Bale is suing Chris Nolan, that isn’t the case. As it turns out, there is a real Batman in the world. A town in Turkey is named Batman, and the mayor of that city is now going after Christopher Nolan, the man behind the latest series of Batman movies.
He didn’t even consider the Batman name and character was in fact created by DC Comics and not Christopher Nolan. This one has me scratching my head, but we all know stranger things have happened. The town is looking at getting royalty rights to the name for its usage.
It seems David Duchovny’s life has hit a few bumps since his release from rehab a few weeks ago. He entered rehab back in August for an addiction to porn. However, there might be more to it than that. Apparently, his wife had an affair with co-star Billy Bob Thornton. Billy Bob denies these rumors of course, but in More magazine, Tea called Thornton her new favorite person.
One publication has come out and said that David had his own affair as well. One with his tennis coach. He denies these reports, and he has gone so far as to sue the publication for the story they published over the weekend. The story said they were told this information by the tennis coach in question, but he says she never said anything. Their relationship is strictly professional.
What do you think? Was there a little hanky panky off the courts?
The trial of Britney Spears and her driving habits is still going on in Los Angeles. Last night, the jury said they were hopelessly deadlocked at 10-2. No word if the ten found her guilty or not. The judge did send them back in, and we haven’t heard anything yet. With the start of a new day, we could hear a decision on this case at any time. Spears has gone to trial for driving without a driver’s license. If convicted, she could face jail time. She really does seem to be cleaning up her act these days though, so hopefully that doesn’t happen. If a decision is made today, this post will be edited!
Jon Bon Jovi and his band have been sued by a man that claims the singer stole lyrics from a song he wrote. Samuel Bartley Steele says Bon Jovi heard the song at a Kerry campaign stop back in 2004, and he used part of the lyrics in his song I Love This Town. Steele’s song was an anthem for the Boston Red Sox.
This is the kicker in all of this though. Steele is suing the singer for $400 billion dollars. Yes, everyone. I did say billion. There is almost no change that the man will see that amount, if he sees anything at all from the lawsuit. Bon Jovi’s representatives have not yet heard about this lawsuit.
You can check out Bon Jovi’s I Love This Town below. It was the song used to promote Major League Baseball over the summer.
