Posted in celebrity, movies, music on November 19th, 2008

What hasn’t happened to Miley Cyrus? She’s had email hacked. Private pictures of her posted on the Internet, and now she can say her website has been hacked. Someone did this recently, and they posted a note on her official website that she had died. An interviewer made her aware of this, and it was fixed. Not before many of her fans saw the note first though! Miley is alive and well. She might not be favorite person, but no one deserves death wished upon them. She had this to say about the incident.

Ok good. Wait. What? On my webpage? On my webpage? No. My webpage got hacked? Thank you, you’re the bearer of good news. Thank you. Yay! At least I can fix it. Oh, I’m ticked. I’m gonna like, smack ‘em!

Next Tuesday night, she will appear on the finale of Dancing With The Stars. This Friday, she hits the big screen in Walt Disney’s Bolt.

Hilary Duff has made the shocking decision to leave her record company, Hollywood Records, and release her next album all by herself. The actress, singer and fashion mogul spoke about that decision to Fashion Rules! She is making some other changes as well when it comes to her fashion line.

The young woman just turned twenty-one, and she seems ready to take on the world and she has her own ideas about just how she wants to do that. It should definitely be interesting to see what she does on her own with all her different projects. Hollywood Records is owned by Disney.

Rap Star Part of Death Hoax

Posted in celebrity, lame, music, rumor on November 3rd, 2008

lil-wayne.jpg

News out of New Orleans this weekend is that Lil Wayne was shot after an altercation with a rival gang. It is said he was shot six times, and he died immediately after arriving on scene at Tulane Hospital in the early morning hours of November 1st. The rapper had just finished a performance at the New Orleans arena when the fight took place.

That would have been the news if it had been a true. A fake BBC News page made its way around the Internet this weekend declaring Lil Wayne dead. Reports this Monday morning are that the rapper is alive and well. The reports of his death are untrue.

The announcement of the rumor hoax came from Perez Hilton, who told everyone not to believe everything you read. Yes, Perez standing up and saying something. Think on that one for awhile.

Posted in celebrity, music, photos on October 31st, 2008

Michael Jackson has been seen out and about a lot lately. This is the most he has been seen in years. This week, he was out for Halloween with his kids, and last week he was buying a plane at a store in Los Angeles. As for his career, it is pretty much at a stand still. That is where it will stay it seems. Jackson says he has no plans to record or tour with his family again. This is different than what one brother said. Jermaine said the family was on board, and Janet would open for them. A conflict here for sure. Michael does say he is working on new projects he wants to share with his fans soon. What do you think? Are you ready for the return of Michael Jackson?

Bon Jovi Sued Over Lyrics

Posted in celebrity, lame, lawsuits, music, sports, video on October 12th, 2008

Jon Bon Jovi and his band have been sued by a man that claims the singer stole lyrics from a song he wrote. Samuel Bartley Steele says Bon Jovi heard the song at a Kerry campaign stop back in 2004, and he used part of the lyrics in his song I Love This Town. Steele’s song was an anthem for the Boston Red Sox.

This is the kicker in all of this though. Steele is suing the singer for $400 billion dollars. Yes, everyone. I did say billion. There is almost no change that the man will see that amount, if he sees anything at all from the lawsuit. Bon Jovi’s representatives have not yet heard about this lawsuit.

You can check out Bon Jovi’s I Love This Town below. It was the song used to promote Major League Baseball over the summer.

Alanis Morissette is gearing up for a tour, and she has decided to come clean about one of her biggest singles. Full House’s Coulier spoke out over the summer, and he said You Oughta Know was about his failed relationship with the singer. She has now said this isn’t true at all. She does write about her own experiences in her music, but not in this case.

Alanis was last in a relationship with actor Ryan Reynolds. The two broke up last February, and he prompty started dating Scarlett Johansson. Ryan and Scarlett were married late last month in a private ceremony in his home of Vancouver. Which of Alanis’ songs are about him?

The singer is currently on her latest tour, and there have been a few problems the last few days. First off, she canceled her show in Detroit on Friday for production constraints, and her Monday night show in Montreal was also canceled at the very last moment when Jackson became ill during soundcheck and was rushed to an unnamed hospital. LL Cool J was her opening act.

There is no word on just what her condition is at this time, but all the best to her on a quick recovery. She might also reschedule her next stop on her tour as well. This news comes only a week after Jackson parted ways with her record company, Island Def Jam Records.

Just yesterday, the buzz around the Spears family was the investigation surrounding the possible sale of pictures of Jamie Lynn that showed her breasts. She was breastfeeding in the pictures. Not long after that news broke, Britney had some news of her own.

The first single off her soon to be released CD is going back for some work. Womanizer was suppossed to hit radio stations on Monday, but it was pulled back for remixing. Womanizer will be the first song of Circus, which Britney plans to release on her birthday December 2. Hopefully, there are no more delays and the release moves forward as scheduled.

Are you ready for new music from Britney Spears? Well, if the answer is yes, you are in luck. The singer plans to release an all new CD of songs on her birthday. This one is to be titled Circus. After her wins at this year’s Video Music Awards, it looks like Britney is finally headed down the right path.
