Zoe Saldana is not new, but she is only now just hitting her popularity in the last year. She can thank Star Trek and fitting into the shoes of Uhura and sleeping around with Spock for that. She was also the crush for James T. Kirk, so that shows you right there this is not your father’s Star Trek. You will next see her in James Cameron’s Avatar, but you wouldn’t really know it was her covered all in blue if you weren’t told.
