Shayne Lamas Admits To DUI
Not many people would openly admit so quickly that they were driving drunk and let themselves be arrested, but that was one star did early Saturday morning. Shayne Lamas was stopped shortly after 1 a.m. early Saturday morning on suspicion of DUI in Venice, California.
However, she didn’t deny drinking, and the breathalyzer showed she was clearly drunk. She had only one drink she says, but the test on site showed she was over the legal limit. She was taken into custody and released. She has a court date on December 9th for the charges. Lamas is currently starring in a reality show about her family Leave it to Lamas. She is the daughter of actor Lorenzo Lamas.
Early Saturday morning, after consuming one drink, I willingly drove through a mandatory check point on my way home with complete confidence of passing. I take full responsibility for my lack of judgment. I have always strived to be a role model for my friends, family and fans and have never nor will ever condone drinking and driving. I apologize for all those I have disappointed, including myself.
