Melrose Places seems to be turning into one big dud. The CW is still putting faith into the series and giving it a full season order just this week. They are hoping the return of Heather Locklear to the series will do something to pick things up a little. However, they are making some cast changes. Ashlee Simpson-Wentz and Colin Eggsfield are both receiving their walking papers from the series. Ashlee will last be seen in the building in January.
As far as Katie Cassidy goes, she is hot, and it seems that her character on Melrose Place has her hand in a little bit of everything on the series. She takes to the cover and the pages of Saturday Night Magazine in a sexy photo shoot. In the magazine, she talks about her character and the original series.

Do you remember the days when Saturday Night Live used to be good? Yeah, yeah. I do too. That was a long time ago. Now Saturday Night Live seems to be very hit and miss. Some episodes are good, and some are bad. Sometimes we have episodes with just one good skit, and last night’s episode was just that case. Drew Barrymore was hosting this week, out promoting her movie that came out earlier this month, Whip It.
She is always worth a laugh, but the writers at SNL didn’t really give her much to work with. Instead, it looks like her boyfriend stole the show last night when he appeared in one of the skits. The skit for Celebrity Ghost Stories included Barrymore as Sharon Osborne, even if it took me a moment to realize it was her. Long came in as a shirtless Matt McConaughey, and he earned the biggest laughs of the night. You can check out the video of that skit here. What do you think? It seems every day we see a new celebrity twitter pop up on scene. Twitter is the big craze, and celebrities want in on the fun. However, one celebrity has decided to walk away from the Twitter craze and actually delete her account.
That celebrity is Miley Cyrus. Yesterday, she announced she was closing out her Twitter and not letting it run her life anymore. She even prepared a cute little rap that she posted the video of her performing. Miley is one of those celebrities I can do without most days.
Apparently her dad even tried to get her to change her mind about Twitter for the sake of her fans, but it looks like she is standing firmly by her decision. Wonder just how long will it last? The celebrity world was shocked this week when Chynna Phillips made the shocking revelation that her sister Mackenzie Phillips had a ten year incestuous relationship with their father. The claim came out in Chynna’s new auto-biography, High on Arrival. Since the news broke, Mackenzie has been out and about speaking about that part of her life. She’s appeared on The Today Show, and she and her Chynna will appear together on Oprah.
That interview is set to air later today. Mackenzie has even gone so far as to defend her father. He’s not a bad man. He was just a sick one. Doesn’t matter how you look at it. He had an incestuous relationship with his daughter. There is something wrong with that. Chynna is probably best known for her part in the group, Wilson Phillips, and her sister once appeared on One Day At A Time. High on Arrival is available now, and yes Chynna also has a new album out. Nothing like scandal to promote your new material!
This is a rare rant, but after seeing this talked about this morning, I have something to rant about. Bon Jovi, the New Jersey based rock band, has once again been snubbed by the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. This is the second year the band could be eligible for membership, and the second year in a row Bon Jovi was not included for admission and the honor.
Yes, it is an honor, but there are few bands out there that have had to longetivity and have constantly worked to reinvent themselves, their music and put out new material as constantly as Bon Jovi. There next album The Circle will hit stores in November. There first single was released in August.

It seems the incident that happened over the weekend at the MTV Video Music Awards is only getting more attention as the week continues on. Celebrities and other public figures are jumping in with their own thoughts on what happened Sunday night when Taylor Swift won the award for Best Female Video. If you recall, Kanye jumped on stage from the audience, took the microphone from her and said friend Beyonce should have won.
The performer has been slammed repeatedly since the incident, and he has apologized more than once for his actions. His latest apology came last night as he sat across from Jay Leno during the premiere of NBC’s all-new The Jay Leno Show. President Barack Obama has even jumped in with his own thoughts calling Kanye a jackass, which is also sparking some controversy. The comment was made off the record during an interview with a reporter from CNBC, but a reporter from a rival network posted the comment to his Twitter shortly after it was said.

Last night in New York City, the stars came out for MTV Video Music Awards, and what a night it was. There were some surprises, some shocking moments, and a few laughs as well. The laughter began early on in the night. On the red carpet in fact as both Shakira and Pink arrived wearing the very same dress. Someone was yelled at last night! That is for sure.
The show began with a touching tribute to Michael Jackson that included a speech by Madonna, who some might call The Queen of Pop.’ She had quite a lot to say about the man and the entertainer, and those words were followed by a performance that included Janet Jackson, and it is safe to say she was amazing.
The most shocking moment of the evening has to be Kanye West. Best Female Video was the first award handed out during the broadcast, and the honor went to Taylor Swift. She was about to make her speech when West stormed the stage in support of Beyonce. He thought she should have won! Beyonce won during the night for Video of the Year, and she called Swift back up to make the speech that was rudely interrupted!

The Time Traveler’s Wife is set to hit theaters on Friday, but we had the premiere in New York City. The flick, starring Eric Bana and Rachel McAdams, also brought out Brad Pitt for its premiere. Just twenty-four hours before, he was in Los Angeles for his own movie premiere for Inglorious Basterds, but he made the cross country trip to New York City because his production company, Plan B, is responsible for this movie, along with New Line Cinema.
He originally bought the rights to the book back in 2004 as a potential project for him, and then wife Jennifer Aniston, to work together. We all know what happened there! Brad then looked to Troy co-star and best friend Eric Bana for the role of Henry, and after the trailer itself making me cry, I think we are in for something big here. Think we might have the next The Notebook! Brad also hit the Today Show this morning, and he talked a bit about some of his recent remarks about love. Lindsay Lohan really does seem to be everywhere these days. She is out and about and on the covers on some of the biggest magazines. Now we can add one more cover. She is on the cover of Elle UK’s September 2009, and I have it to say it here, she actually looks amazing in this photo shoot. We see her red locks here, but she has recently returned back to blonde.
It seems Lohan may be on the come back trail. She has just signed onto a new Robert Rodriguez flick. He is taking the fake trailer from Grindhouse, and he is giving it the full feature treatmench. Machete; has a cast now.
A little bit of everything is in this one. We have Robert Deniro, Jessica Alba and Michelle Rodriguez co-starring in this one with Lindsay.
